Signature Sport’s Gerard Whateley was honoured last night at the annual Australian Sports Commission Media Awards scoring a rare ‘double’ after winning the ‘Best Coverage of Sport by an Individual’ award for both television and radio.

Gerard’s work as co-host of FOX FOOTY’s ratings-winning AFL 360 program saw him receive the television award while his outstanding hosting of ABC’s Grandstand saw him similarly acknowledged in the radio award.
