Crow wins World Championships

On Sunday afternoon, Kim Crow became the first Australian woman to be crowned world champion the 2013 World Rowing Championships in Chungju, South Korea.

Crow dominated her final, winning in seven minutes, 31.34 seconds, ahead of New Zealander Emma Twigg. It’s the first world title Australia has won in a single scull since Adair Ferguson won gold in 1985 in a lightweight race.
