Jason Bakker founded Signature Sport in 2007 after spending 13 years playing elite cricket and working for Cricket Victoria in marketing and commercial development.

Jason is passionate about identifying and nurturing the careers of young athletes. His personal and thoughtful management-style has helped to shape the careers of more individuals both in their sporting pursuits and their long-term future. This dual focus is the quality which distinguishes Signature Sport.

Jason has three children, so home life is often as busy as work. To escape, Jason enjoys a morning ride most days, cooks a good pizza and fervently supports his AFL team, the Geelong Cats.

AFTER ESCAPING PRE-MONA HOBART AND PRACTISING LAW IN MELBOURNE, LUCI PURSUED A CAREER IN MAJOR SPORTS EVENT MANAGEMENT, AND SPENT 20 YEARS WORKING FOR THE US PGA TOUR, AFL AND VICTORIAN MAJOR EVENTS COMPANY.

Luci lists attending the US Masters, watching Tiger Woods at the height of his powers and a roller-coaster ride in an official race vehicle at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race among some pretty impressive career highlights.

She plays a key role in managing our clients’ contractual commitments and commercial opportunities and oversees the partnership program for the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

Luci has two kids, enjoys running, films, music and travel, and talks about getting on the golf course. She definitely needs to work on her short game.

Penny has extensive project management and delivery experience in major sporting events.

She is also an expert at client, stakeholder, sponsor and athlete management. Having been an event director for Cycling Australia and project adviser for the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road race, Penny is a highly-valued contributor to the Signature Sport team.
