Congratulations to Caleb Ewan, who has been named in Orica-GreenEDGE’s 2015 Vuelta a España team.

This will be Caleb’s Grand Tour debut and a remarkable achievement for a rider in his first year as a professional.

“This is a natural progression for Caleb, going onto a Grand Tour,” said sport director Neil Stephens.

“But as we do with all of our young guys, we will certainly support him and have high hopes, but any pressure will only come from himself.

“As a team we just want him to get out there for the experience. He will ride half of the race as a maximum, if not only a week to ten days.

The selection is a huge reward for Caleb’s early season success which includes no less than 10 wins, including his first stage race victory at the Tour of Korea.
